Get in touchPamela Spruce was the Director and Chief Executive Officer of Australian Butlers Pty Ltd, an international organization specializing in hospitality training and staff placements for private residences, yachts and aircraft for high profile clients around the world.
In 1997 she started the Australian Butler School (an accredited Government Registered Training Organization) developing a comprehensive training program covering all areas of residential and hotel/resort butler service. She believes communication is the key to exceptional service and is herself an excellent communicator.
In 2009 Pamela was honored with an Australian Tourism and Training Award for ‘Excellence in Training and Contribution to the Nation’. In 2007 Australian Butlers moved to training in the corporate sector and luxury services market where service delivery has a direct affect on brand perception. Clients included corporations in Australia and international airlines both in Australia and the United Kingdom.
Simon Robinson was born in Jersey in the Channel Islands and studied at the Ivor Spencer International Butler School in London. For the past twenty five years he has worked as a Butler in the United States, Europe and Australia, plus internationally as the Chief Steward on private yachts to 75 metres and was the private secretary and P/A to the Russian ballet dancer Rudolf Nureyev. Moving to Australia, Simon worked in a private residence for seven years, a role that included membership of the security team, responsible for the daily safety and security of the family, guests and property.
A certified trainer and published author, Simon lectured at both the Ivor Spencer International Butler School and Australian Butler School. He lives just south of Sydney with his wife Jane, where they share a strong interest in their horses. A passionate sailor, Simon races his Olympic dinghy and competes in international yacht races to World Championship level.
